Does the calculator include CPP and EI?

No. It estimates federal and Manitoba income tax only. CPP contributions, EI premiums and other payroll deductions are not included.

Is all my income taxed at the same rate?

No. Canada and Manitoba use progressive tax brackets. Only the portion of income within each bracket is taxed at that bracket’s rate.
